On Thursday we are getting a very special visit from some local firefighters. They will teach us about fire safety. What do we do in an emergency?
On Friday, students will get to participate in a fire safety demonstration. It should be a lot of fun! We will post some pictures next Tuesday. This is an example of a sketch and model for a number story. A sketch is a quick drawing of what the story is telling you. A model shows what the numbers may be doing in the story.
On Thursday, September 18th, the Lysol Healthy Habits bus came to TALES to teach us about keeping healthy and germ free. On the bus, students learned how to wash their hands, the difference between good germs and bad germs, and how to keep germs away from others. Students received a Lysol t-shirt and a lysol badge with their picture. Football Hall of Famer, Jerry Rice, talked to second and third graders about simple ways to keep healthy. He inspired them to follow their dreams and even took a tour with 5 of our third graders of the Lysol bus!

Thursday, September 25th Friday, September 26th This Thursday, September 18, the Lysol Healthy Habits Tour is coming to our school to teach the students about staying healthy and having good hygiene. Students will get to tour the Lysol Healthy Habits bus and practice good hygiene. Hall of Fame football player, Jerry Rice, is accompanying the Lysol tour to speak with students.
